Receptionist/Service Writer Assistant

Employee Type: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist service advisor in scheduling of appointments.
  • Review invoiced service and repair details with customers so they gain an understanding of all services provided.
  • Create service worksheets prior to customer appointment and with help of the service writer try to anticipate needed services based upon historical service data.
  • Address customers' questions/needs promptly and professionally.
  • Answer phones and perform general cashiering duties.
  • Greeting customers.
  • Upload photos of customer’s vehicles as they are being worked on onto our website, send e-mail notifications to customers.
  • Assist the New Car and Classic Workshop Service Advisors as needed.
  • Resolve general customer concerns.

Automotive New Vehicle Technician

Employee Type: Full Time

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of Mercedes-Benz technical experience
  • Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Team player with impeccable honesty and integrity
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, while meeting/exceeding factory and dealership standards.
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
  • Keep shop and work area neat and clean, and be able to account for shop tools and equipment at all times.
  • Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean, if not cleaner than they were prior to being serviced.
  • Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs performed.
  • Document work performed for each vehicle on the repair order using concern, cause, and correction format.
  • State repair diagnosis/description as clearly as possible.
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Inform Shop Foreman if vehicle is down awaiting parts.
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Save and tag parts when a job is completed and return them to the parts department.
  • Inform Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
  • Continually monitor status of each vehicle and inform the Shop Foreman.  Escalate “wait” jobs as much as possible. Monitor promised times and advise if there may be a problem meeting a promised time as soon as it becomes apparent.

New Vehicle Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with scheduling of appointments.
  • Generate repair estimates using information provided by the technician/parts department.
  • Advise customers of estimated service and repair costs, review details of service/repair invoice with customer so they can gain an understanding of all services provided.
  • Work with technicians to determine progress of repair/service orders and inform customer accordingly.
  • Identify services needs of customers prior to arrival based upon historical service data.
  • Address customer’s questions/needs promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure comprehensive re-delivery check of customer vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been carried out appropriately and on schedule.
  • Generate accurate repair invoices.
  • Conduct post-repair follow-up.
  • Resolve general customer concerns.
  • Meet and great customers, take service calls from customers.
  • Build loyalty and trust while creating an overall positive experience for the customer.

Classic Workshop Technician
