The Pump Shop
WHERE FUEL INJECTION PUMPS ARE REBORN
There aren't that many shops that will look at a fuel injection pump, let alone give it a full restoration, and we're willing to bet there are even fewer places with a dedicated fuel injection pump shop that's as specialized as ours.
With four separate test benches all running simultaneously, up to a dozen pumps in progress at any given time, thousands of replacement parts, hundreds of backups, and a collection of specialized tools carefully curated over a quarter century, not to mention a 20-gallon ultrasonic bath, our pump shop has just about everything a fuel injection pump specialist could ask for.
Take a quick look around the shop in the gallery here and learn more about our process, options, test benches, specialty tools, and the pumps we work on in the links at the bottom of the page. To the right you can see a Bosch R3 in progress. As always feel free to contact us to see what we can do for you and to get your project started.

Above we have one of our EFEP 385As from 1977, currently set up for 2-plunger pumps like the ZEA and ZEB. In the foreground you can see in-progress pumps awaiting disassembly and cleaning.
While the majority of our shop is focused on the restoration and testing of fuel injection pumps we also use a corner for our carburetor exchange program. Here you can see our inventory of carburetors ready for shipping or install.

Above we have our EFEP 515 from 1979, currently being used to test a Bosch R6 fuel injection pump from a 1970s Porsche 911. Pumps for Porsche's are basically cousins to the typical Mercedes-Benz pumps we've always worked on, and while requiring some unique tools and expertise, it's a logical step to include them in our repertoire.
The last image we have shows two pumps just getting started. While we breifly tested these to establish a baseline, these pumps have a long process of disassembly, cleaning, plating, testing, calibration, and reassembly ahead. While we pride ourselves on getting your job done promptly, the simple fact is that these restorations take time and require exacting measurements and meticulous attention to detail to ensure you receive properly running pump.
Take a look at the links below to learn more about fuel injection pumps and the models we work with or to explore test benches and the restoration process we went through to get those back in working order and looking good.

We also offer a variety of options for your fuel injection pump including a la carte parts, exchange programs, and we also have an inventory of fuel injection pumps available to purchase outright. Contact us today or browse our site and let us know what you need.
