The Tech Session
A day of German food, german beer, and german engineering
Once a year we invite clients, Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts from the area, local clubs, and regional collectors to our shop for a day of conversation, food, beverages, and a healthy dose of German engineering.
The Tech Session has been going strong for more than 15 years and countless classics and contemporary gems have been featured in tutorials, demonstrations, and put on display for the viewing pleasure of our attendees. From 300SL's to 2023 AMGs, the Tech Session is our way of giving you a little insight into the operation of the shop as well as educating the public on some aspects of classic engineering and restoration.

Special guests and experts have appeared throughout the years to discuss specific issues and common problems encountered by classic owners, while our technicians have offered tutorials on everything from general maintenance to upholstery, even offering an inside look at our one-of-a-kind fuel injection pump shop. We've even brought in our artist-in-residence to create art live and in 2023 awarded one lucky guest a custom painting of their classic R107.
In addition, each event is fully catered with a selection of delectable German delicacies, finger foods, and beer all combining for an energetic and laid-back atmosphere with a little education tossed in as well. Each year we end with a quiz and small door prizes with most attendees heading out before dusk.
While education is a main focus of the demonstrations, we generally like to keep the event relaxed and casual. Much of the time guests are allowed to walk freely through the shop, converse with other owners and inspect vehicles on show, our facilities, and any number of in-progress restorations on display. Further, many attendees bring in their classics and rarities, turning the parking lot and street into a makeshift car show of sorts featuring everything from Gullwings to pagodas to AMGs, even the occasional McLaren.
